Meet Becky Pearson
A physical therapist, horsewoman, WPRA card holder, and founder of Pivot Point Performance — helping riders and horses move better, recover smarter, and stay in the work they love.
A Horsewoman First
Becky grew up on a horse — early days competing in 4-H in every event and starting her own colts. By the time she finished her Master's degree in Physical Therapy, she'd found her way to the ranch country of the Nebraska Sandhills, and ultimately found herself.
Becky is a WPRA card holder who has competed in barrel racing at both the professional and local levels. Her daughters, Emma and Gracie, have successfully competed in barrel racing, pole bending, and cutting. Staying in the saddle isn't a hobby for this family — it's a part of their soul.
The Pain That Changed Everything
Which is why what happened next changed everything: Becky found herself in so much pain, she considered selling her horses.
As a physical therapist, she went to work on the problem the way she treats her patients — and she found her way back. Back to riding, back to competing, back to the life she almost gave up. And she realized something at every rodeo and clinic since: almost everyone is hurting. The riders, and just as often, their horses.
Why Pivot Point Performance Exists
That's what Pivot Point Performance was built to address — both halves of the horse-and-rider partnership.
